Speaking with an Officer

When calling the Animal Shelter you will often get an answering machine. Please understand that Animal Control Officers are often out of the shelter handling calls or assisting other customers. There is only one Animal Control Officer for the entire city.

If you reach the answering machine during normal business hours, please leave a detailed message including a call back number. Our Animal Control Officer will return your call when they return to the shelter. The Animal Control Officer is available from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

To Report an Animal

Report lost or found animals immediately! It is unlawful to possess a stray animal for more than 24 hours without first reporting such possession to the animal shelter. To report a lost or found animal, please call the animal shelter or contact the Collinsville Police Department at 918-371-1000.

Please check the Facebook page as we will be posting photos of the animals in the shelter that have been found, and will often post photos of animals that may be up for adoption. Please note that the page is not monitored 24/7 so if you have any concerns please contact the Collinsville Police Department at 918-371-1000 to speak with animal control during normal business hours.

Ward-Wiseman Animal Haven is a no-kill non-profit animal rescue located in Collinsville, Oklahoma that works in conjunction with the City of Collinsville Animal Control Officer to help find homes for stray and abandoned dogs and cats in our town.
