POSTPONED

CONCERNING OUR INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION EVENT IN THE PARK SCHEDULED FOR THIS SATURDAY, JULY 2, 2022.  Please note the parade scheduled for Saturday morning at 9:00 AM will still take place.  Get your entries in TODAY!
FROM OUR FIREWORKS VENDOR REC'D THIS MORNING, TUESDAY, JUNE 28, 2022.
This is not an email I want to be writing to you this morning.  I received the worst news yesterday a family business can receive in over 50 years in business.  The quickest way to notify each and every one of my customers is through email.  With that said -
As many of you know with all of the issues of short supply during the pandemic and the port in China being closed for a time, supplies have been very hard to receive.  I was notified on Friday my fireworks order which was placed back in January (as it is every year) had finally reached the states and is moving on the railway and would be ready to pick up this Wednesday, June 29th.  I received another call yesterday the shipment is now held up in Los Angeles by customs and will not reach us until after the 4th of July.  You can imagine my devastation and panic.  Although all of my resources are tied up in this shipment my team spent yesterday calling every fireworks company across the United States to try and secure additional supplies.  In these calls we found out we are not the only company in this situation and had no luck in finding additional fireworks.
In the 50 plus years of business for me and my family this is something we have never experienced or had to share with our loyal customers, and I apologize but after trying every option this is something out of our control.  Please reply back to this email as soon as possible as our schedule may book up pretty fast.
Feel free to call me, if I don't answer leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I will be cancelling/rescheduling uhaul trucks, insurance, permits etc. If you reschedule this year all dates can be changed on insurance and permits.
Sincerely,
Tiffany Russell
