1. When and where is court held?

Arraignment court starts at 4:00 p.m. on the first and second Tuesday of every month.  Trial court starts at 3:00 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month.  All court hearings are held in the Commission Chambers at Collinsville City Hall located at 106 N. 12th Street, Collinsville, Oklahoma.

2. I just want to pay my speeding ticket, do I have to go to court?

In most instances, traffic citations may be handled online, through the mail, or payment made in person. Please read the reverse side of your citation and enter your plea by marking the appropriate box and providing your signature.

3. I received an insurance ticket, I had insurance. I just couldn't find it. What do I do?

By appearing before the office of the Court Clerk at City Hall (106 N. 12th Street) prior to your court date, with valid proof of insurance showing the effective date of coverage on or before the date the citation was issued, the citation will be dismissed without costs to you.

4. My minor child has received a citation for a non traffic offense; do we have to appear in court?

Yes. All juvenile offenders of non traffic violations must make a mandatory court appearance. As a parent or legal guardian, you are required to attend all court proceedings with your child.

5. What happens if I don't appear in court or I don't pay my fine?

Failure to appear before the court or failure to pay a fine that has been assessed will result in a Bench Warrant being issued for your arrest. The court will also request to the Department of Public Safety that your driving privileges be suspended until the matter is resolved. The Department of Public Safety will require a reinstatement fee, should your driving privileges be suspended.
